  1. People ALWAYS have a reason to make others' lives miserable! That is what this cartoon is saying. "Protecting the Sanctity of Marriage"...
What about those from WAY back?
Greeks, Romans, and other early countries and civilizations had Gay Marriage as an everyday thing. It was not as common as hetero marriages, but they still had full rights for 'domestic couples' as well!

  2. Gay marriage as well as intercail marriage should be accepted in society. it's pathetic we can't come to terms, or atleast to a certin extent of acceptence. I hope when I grow up and have kids of my own, the society they will have to live in will be much better than ours. More acceptance PLEASE.

  3. Interacial marriage is nothing at all like gay marriage. I don't even understand how you could compare the two.

  4. Why should race, color, gender, etc. matter when it comes to love? This cartoon just about sums up how unaccepting people can be. Marriage is a human right, not a heterosexual privilege.

  6. Life, I would suppose that is the greatest concern...last I checked you could not make babies with spit. What I'm trying to say is that a man and a woman are needed to both conceive another human being. We have no data to show that a child reared by just parents of the same sex are any better off than those children raised by both a male and a female parent of reasonably sound mind and body.
To state otherwise would not be either true or fair to anyone.
At the end of the day we as a people, if we wish to propagate, will either have to accept our differences and get along so we can get along or continue to dwindle societally. The choice should be a relatively easy one, but the history tells us that we as a race have only a marginal chance of lasting or surviving ourselves.. Truly sad wouldn't you say. And by the way I was being very optimistic with us as a species.
