Letting Go Of God (Song)

  1. Good song - nice voice - interesting message - Let me tell you a story about the most influential person in my life - my Dad. Yes, he grew up a Catholic and did all those religious things for many years. He survived WW2 and became a sucess. He became disappointed with religion because of the outside human influence - the fact that MAN TRYS TO DEFINE SPIRITUALITY was his disappointment. Well after many years, he refound his own sprituality. He never disclosed, nor discussed - EVER - any re-discovery. We all have a unexplainable - logically - weave of beliefs - Yet, all I can say as you get older there seems to be a draw back to some sort of spirituality.

  2. Thank you for sharing. However, it does beg the question, does someone need to believe in a god in order to be spiritual? I guess it depends on how you define spiritual. When I look at the stars or just observe nature, I feel this overwhelming "spiritual" feeling. To know, as Carl Sagan put it, that we (and everything)are made of star stuff can feel very spiritual. In that sense I think all of us (most people) are spiritual.
